Don’t get in a relationship merely to break a heart. Don’t tell a girl you love her, spend all your time with her, and act like she is the only one you want when you are interested in other women on the side.
Don’t play with her emotions. Don’t sneak behind her back. Don’t make her wonder what she did wrong, why she wasn’t enough for you. Don’t leave her with self-esteem issues, abandonment issues, and trust issues.
Don’t bolt over a girl you supposedly care about — because she is never going to be the same after you cheat on her. Your one night blunder is going to haunt her for the rest of her life. She is still going to hold onto the pain, even after she leaves you, even after she gets into a new relationship with a new guy who would never hurt her the route you have.
If you aren’t ready to stay faithful, stay out of a relationship. If you aren’t interested in making a serious commitment, don’t stimulate her think you are serious about her.
Don’t give her the wrong impression. Don’t get involved with someone you can tell is crazy about you when you don’t feel the same way. You aren’t doing her any favors. You are only bolt her over in the long-run.
It’s better to turn her down early on than to lead her on. It’s better to break her heart before she gets too attached than to transgress her heart after years of dating, years of presuming you are a good, faithful guy who cares about her.
If you feel like you are too young to settle down, if you feel like it isn’t the right time for you to get into a relationship, remain single. Don’t string someone along. Don’t send them mixed signals. Don’t lie about how much you like them in order to get what you want from them.
There is nothing wrong with playing the field — as long as you aren’t already in a relationship. As long as there isn’t a girl who assumes you are coming home to her and only her.
Stay single if you want to sleep around. Stay single if you aren’t sure whether you are ready for something serious yet. Remain single if you aren’t ready to stay faithful because good daughters don’t deserve to get cheated on. They don’t deserve to go through that various kinds of pain. They don’t deserve to question their worth. They don’t deserve to feel like they aren’t pretty enough, fun enough, intelligent enough.
If you care about a girl, don’t put yourself in a position where you know you are going to break her heart. Don’t get into a serious relationship with her when you know you aren’t half as crazy about her as she is about you. Don’t bolt her over.
If you aren’t ready to stay faithful, stay single. You’ll have more fun that style — and you won’t hurt anyone that route.
